Mockup to Production
My Role
As the lead designer, I:
Developed the visual concept and layout for the wall, ensuring it was eye-catching, accessible, and informative.
Created custom illustrations of the UVU campus, which are featured prominently in the wall graphics to give students a familiar and relatable visual context.
Organized and styled content around UVU’s key sustainability initiatives, including geothermal heating/cooling, recycling, transportation, and water conservation.
Integrated interactive media (originally a TV display) that showcased energy data and campaign videos.
Collaborated with student sustainability teams to align messaging, graphics, and tone with their outreach goals
Outcome
The Sustainability Wall creates campus awareness - merging storytelling, data, and design into a single installation. It is both an educational tool and a visual statement of UVU’s commitment to sustainability, reinforcing the university’s mission to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.
